Biography

Western Climax formed in late 1999, evolving from the occasional jam, to the quest for dominance. After occasional shows and recordings, the original drummer disembarked, leaving a hole and uncertainty within the band. The two original founding members (Dino and Smitty) began their search for a brother, who could not only deliver musically, but keep the fire alive behind the cans. The answer came in the late winter of 2007, when mighty Caleb was found. His addition to the band brought out ideas and pushed the band to evolve musically. With balance and power behind the music, the band asked long time friend Kevin to assume vocal duties. With hard work and countless hours of rehearsal, we were then ready to emerge back on the music scene of Denver in April of 2007. Between the months of May and July 2007, the band played 15 shows, often on short notice, and began developing relationships with local bar and venue owners who saw the potential of our new sound. The goal of saving Rock N' Roll from the trend is in our blood, and we will let nothing detain our desire to kick maximum ass.
