Is BreakingTheBand.com Free?
Yes! Every feature and function you currently see on the site is FREE. BreakingTheBand.com is supported solely by advertising. In the future, BreakingTheBand.com will provide album sales of your favorite local artists, but all the features and functions you have currently been enjoying on BreakingTheBand.com will always remain FREE!
When creating a new account, why can't I use an email address that I've already used for another account?
BreakingTheBand.com only allows one profile per email address.
Someone is using my email address without my permission - what can I do?
From the account login page, complete the "Forgot Your Password?" form to have the password of the account sent to you. You can then go to the account settings page and click on 'Delete Account' to remove the account using your email address. Then if you sign up with your email address, then no one else will be able to use it!
Artist/Band
How do I create an artist account?
From any page on the website, click the "Sign-Up" link at the top-right corner of the page. In the "Create New Account" section, click on "Create an artist/band account".
How do I add a song to my artist page?
Currently, we do not allow artists to upload music to our servers. If you wish to have a song play when a user visits your page, you may provide a URL in the "Song" field on your account details page.
I can't rate bands, write reviews, etc.
We don't allow for bands to rate other bands or write reviews about each other. Only music fans (regular user accounts) can rate bands and write reviews on the website. If you wish to rate and write reviews, Click Here to create a user account.
